Glebe Primary School Uganda Day

Date: 22 June 2018

Glebe Primary School, Irvine, held a fundraising day for the Kitega Centre which was organised by Emma Gall (teacher at Glebe Primary). The P6 class helped Emma to arrange the day for the school and made African bracelets, key rings and home baking to sell.

There were bouncy castles, face painting, glitter tattoos, guess how many sweets in the jar, beat the goalie, an obstacle course, a Uganda wordsearch and quiz, exercise bike races and a staff raffle.

Everyone had a fabulous day and enjoyed all the fun activites, we can’t quite believe how much was raised! This money will make a huge difference to children at Kitega – it is going to provide a sandpit and other outside play equipment.

We would like to give a huge thank you to all the pupils, parents, staff and especially Emma for their hard work and generous donations.

Thank you Glebe Primary!

Total Raised: £2,000.00
